課程概述 |
本課程將處理兩個議題，一是文學本身的科技面向，一是近代科技發展過程在文學領域產生的迴響。所以本課程的基本假設是科技並非文學的反面，而是文學迷戀、關注、執著的對象或自我。我們將透過幾個議題來觀察這個假設的有效性：(1) 文學變化與科技發展的連動性，(2) 文學與科技面對未知領域的姿態，(3) 文學、科技、認知三者之間的關連性，特別是其中知識記憶所扮演的角色。閱\讀材料包括以下單元：文學的科技面；科技現實；技術程序、記憶、檔案；記憶、蒐集、傳承；半人類與後人類；御虛空間與去身體。 |

課程目標 |
本課程學生可以認識文學與科技的相關議題與文學研究對這些議題的主要看法，同時也可以透過參與閱\讀及討論，熟悉在議題取向的框架下，研究者如何閱\讀、分析文學作品。 |
